Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Services

The bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology and human services requires 42 credit hours of specified psychology courses. Students considering applying to graduate school are strongly encouraged to enroll in the senior seminar courses and to complete a senior thesis.

Minors

Psychology and Human Services Minor

The requirements for a minor in psychology and human services consist of 18 credit hours of specified psychology courses.

Child & Family Studies Minor

The requirements for a minor in child & family studies consist of 18 credit hours of specified psychology, criminology, education, and health courses.

Pre-Art Therapy Minor

The requirements for a minor in pre-art therapy consist of 19 credit hours of specified art and psychology courses. (Art majors must choose one of two specified psychology electives, while psychology majors must choose one of two specified art electives.)

Certificates

Psychology Analyst Certificate

The requirements for a psychology analyst certificate consist of 23 credit hours of specified psychology and environmental science courses. This program prepares students to apply the science of geographic information with the technologies of geographic information systems (GIS), cartography, and remote sensing to sociospatial research.
